The United States Postal Service is pleased to announce the opening of the new North Side Post Office location at 669 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, OH 44505. The current location, 1716 Guadalupe Avenue, will close at noon on Saturday, September 1, 2018. The North Side Post Office will reopen for business in its new location on Gypsy Lane at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. An official ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at the new location on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.

Following a community meeting in 2017 and U.S. Postal Service review of all public feedback, the Postal Service made a final decision to relocate Northside Post Office retail services. The current facility at 1716 Guadalupe Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44504, is too large for USPS operational needs and the relocation allows the Postal Service to maintain and improve service to the community.

The Postal Service will provide the same services at the new location as are currently provided to customers at the existing location.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
