Postal services temporarily relocated to Ardmore, OK 73401

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK —The Postal Service announced today that all services provided through the Lone Grove Post Office have been temporarily relocated to the Ardmore Post Office located at 208 1st Avenue SW, Ardmore OK 73401. Ardmore Post Office business hours are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m and Saturday’s 8 a.m-12 noon.

Initial reports indicate that a tornado touched down last night in Lone Grove, OK 73443, and the Lone Grove Post Office sustained major damage.

Rural mail delivery will be provided Feb. 11 to areas where letter carriers can safely travel. Post Office Box customers may pick up their mail at the Ardmore Post Office after 2 p.m. Feb. 11.  Proper identification will be required for mail pick-up.

Postal officials and the United States Postal Inspection Service are in the process of recovering all mail at the Lone Grove Post Office to determine the extent of damage or loss to the mail as a result of the facility damage. Lone Grove Post Office is not accessible to customers due to safety and security concerns.
