Tulsa, OK — Next week, the U. S. Postal Service will be sponsoring a Postal Job Fair at the Tulsa Post Office, 333 W. 4th Street (on the first floor), Tulsa, OK.  The Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.  During the job fair additional information will be available to attendees that will provide specific details about the position.  Computers will be made available for potential applicants to submit their applications on-line.

The Tulsa Post Office is now accepting applications for City Carrier Assistants (CCAs).  Scheduled workdays for these positions will normally be Monday through Sunday, with an average 36-hour work week.  CCA salary is $15.30 an hour.  This position is non-career, with limited benefits which include paid vacation days, contractual pay raises, and access to the USPS non-career Employee Health Benefits Plan.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of continuous documented driving history/experience.  To meet the U. S. Postal Service’s requirement to be drug free, qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment screening and drug screening.  In addition, applicants must also be a U. S. Citizen or have permanent residence alien status.

For people unable to attend the job fairs, Postal Service positions are being posted online at www.usps.com/employment under the “search jobs and apply online section.”  Local jobs and other positions across the state are being posted weekly; anyone wishing to apply for a specific job must do so within the job posting period.  The Postal Service encourages applicants to check the web page consistently to keep up with the changes in various position openings.
