OKLAHOMA — Post Offices in the U.S. Postal Service’s Oklahoma District normally opened on Saturdays will be open Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24, on their regular operating schedule. Post Offices will also be open regular hours on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Mail delivery will be unaffected.
The Airport Finance Unit located at 6500 Air Cargo Road Ste. B, Oklahoma City, OK 73195-9900, will be the only Post Office in the Oklahoma City area that will be open on Monday, December 26. It will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the convenience of our customers. Commercial customers are asked to check with their business mail entry units for specific information about holiday hours of operation.
Collection times on blue collection boxes will not be affected.
Because Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Sunday this year, Post Offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2, the observed federal holidays. Only Priority Mail Express will be delivered on the actual holidays as well as the observed holidays. All Post Offices will be open and regular mail delivery will resume Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.
