Edmond, OK — The U. S. Postal Service will be sponsoring a Job Fair at the Coffee Creek Station, 407 W Covell Rd., Edmond OK 73003. The job fair will be held on Monday, August 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During the job fair additional information will be available which will provide specific details about the position to attendees.
The Edmond Post Office and surrounding areas are now accepting applications for Assistant Rural Carriers (ARCs). Scheduled workdays for these positions are Sundays and holidays. Salary is $17.40 an hour.
Applicants for driving positions must have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and at least two years of continuous documented driving history/experience. To meet the U. S. Postal Service’s requirement to be drug free, qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment screening and drug screening. In addition, applicants must also be a U. S. Citizen or have permanent residence alien status.
For people unable to attend the job fair, Postal Service positions are being posted online at www.usps.com/employment under the “search jobs and apply online section.” Local jobs and other positions across the state are being posted weekly; anyone wishing to apply for a specific job must do so within the job posting period. The Postal Service encourages applicants to check the web page consistently to keep up with the changes in various position openings.
