MUSKOGEE, OK — The Postal Service is always looking to improve the customer experience and is proud to announce that work began on September 10, for a new Muskogee Post Office location. The U.S. Postal Service recently awarded a contract for renovation of existing space to house operations for a new Main Post Office.

The new Main Post Office will be located at Arrowhead Mall, in the previous location held by Sears®, at 501 North Main Street, Muskogee OK 74401. The new facility will replace the current Main Post Office, at 525 W. Okmulgee Muskogee OK 74401. Operations at the current location will continue as normal until the completion of the project.

The new Post Office will be approximately 20,000 square feet and will provide three full-service counters for customers, and a P.O. Box section that includes parcel lockers. Customers will have sufficient parking spaces in front of the Post Office in the general mall parking.

Completion of the new Muskogee Main Post Office and relocation of postal operations is anticipated by the summer of 2019.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
