Beginning Saturday June 1, Cave Junction Post Office Box customers will be able to pick up their mail at the Josephine County Building, 102 S. Redwood Highway in Cave Junction, postal officials announced today.

Mail will be available at a temporary will call window. P.O. Box customers must bring photo identification to collect their mail. The will call window will be open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.

A blue USPS collection box has also been installed at this temporary location, into which customers may deposit their outgoing mail.
The Cave Junction Post Office is closed as a result of a fire that occurred at that facility in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 30.

Retail services continue to be available to Cave Junction postal customers at Post Offices in Selma and O’Brien. No retail services will be available at the Josephine County Building.

Postal customers who receive mail delivery at their home or business in Cave Junction will continue to receive that service as usual.

“We appreciate our customers’ patience and the community’s support during this difficult time,” Cave Junction Postmaster Arlyse DeLoyola said.
