Bridal Veil, OR, Postmaster Christie Moon invites history buffs, classic car enthusiasts and stamp collectors alike to join her at a re-enactment of the 1916 dedication ceremony of the Columbia River Highway to obtain two special collectible postmarks commemorating the centennial event.

The festivities will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at Multnomah Falls. The dedication ceremony itself will begin at 10:30 a.m. behind the Multnomah Falls Lodge.
U.S. Postal Service employees will be on hand near the Multnomah Falls Gift Shop entrance to offer two collectible pictorial postmarks depicting the Columbia River Gorge and Vista House, created especially for this event.
