A grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10 a.m. for the new Contract Postal Unit opened in the Cranberry SHOP ‘n SAVE, 1197 Freedom Rd., Cranberry TWP, PA 16066.  Refreshments will be served and the public is invited.

Cranberry Postmaster Jim Chesney says the contract unit will provide a full range of postal services except money orders. “The Cranberry SHOP ‘n SAVE location is another way we are extending our services and making it more convenient for customers to do business with us,” Chesney said.

Cranberry SHOP ‘n SAVE Jim and Jeff Sorbara will join Chesney to dedicate the new facility.

The Cranberry SHOP ‘n SAVE contract postal unit will operate Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays and holidays. The location also accepts debit and credit cards and will serve as a collection point for prepaid packages.

Chesney and employees of the Cranberry Post Office invite customers to attend the new Cranberry SHOP ‘n SAVE CPU open house to learn more about the services offered at this location.
