BUTLER — Fashion, music and transportation have changed a lot over the past fifty years, but one thing hasn't: Paul J. Rock of the Butler Post Office is still moving the mail at the Post Office.

Rock, a Letter Carrier at the Butler Post Office is being honored with 50 years of postal and federal employment at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, November 14, at the Butler Post Office, 345 S. Main Street, Butler, PA 16001.

The biggest change Rock has seen involves, not surprisingly, how the mail is processed and delivered.  Postal operations have seen many technological advances in this past half-century, and Rock has had a front-row seat for many of them.

Amazingly,Rock shows no signs of slowing down. Even after all these years, he still enjoys coming to work every day.
