What: |
McKeesport Post Office Letter Carriers: Rich Elko, Ed Keisell, James Kozak, Bill Noblick, Paul Potersnak, John Schessler and Tony Young have been inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council “Million Mile Club” for thirty years of accident-free driving on the job. All seven McKeesport mail carriers have driven 30 years without a preventable motor vehicle accident qualifying them for the distinguished driver award. The seven mail carriers will receive a special Million Mile Club plaque from McKeesport Postmaster Dan Devey in a brief ceremony among their coworkers. To be qualified, for Million Mile Club status, a professional driver must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles. "These are outstanding postal employees in every aspect of this very demanding position,” said Devey. “The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. You do not normally see seven employees, from the same Post Office, achieve this feet together. Each one is very conscientious and their leadership and accomplishments are a great example for every member of our workforce." |
