PITTSBURGH, PA -- Postal Service facilities will be closed for retail transactions on Monday, February 15, in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday. There will be no regular mail delivery and limited collection runs will be conducted throughout Pittsburgh and the Western PA District which encompasses PA ZIP Code areas: 150-168 and 260 in West Virginia.

The Postal Service will be collecting from blue collection boxes and is asking that customers deposit their mail in collection boxes in front of businesses, on main streets and in front of Post Offices - early in the day - to assist collections drivers in transporting the mail to processing centers earlier.

Additionally, mail and packages from businesses with high volume letters or packages can be collected too. Businesses, fitting this criteria, can call their local Post Office to arrange for pick up.

Although, there will not be regular mail delivery on the Presidents’ Day holiday, Priority Mail Express is delivered 365 days a year and will be delivered on February 15. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, February 16.
