PHILADELPHIA, PA — On June 15, the U.S. Postal Service presented a proposal that included the relocation of the Paschall Station retail services, located at 2904 S. 70th Street, to a postal-owned building at 7300 Lindbergh Blvd.
After consideration of discussion and feedback, the Postal Service has announced it is moving forward on the proposal.
As noted, postal retail services will remain in the community at the current location until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office. There will be no change to Post Office Box numbers or ZIP Codes.
The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
