Schedule No Delivery, Post Offices Closed

CENTRAL PA – In observance of Columbus Day, Monday, Oct. 10, the Postal Service will adhere to the following schedule:

  • All Post Offices will be closed.
  • There will be no residential or business deliveries, only delivery of Priority Mail Express.

 As a note to business customers, on Columbus Day

  • Mail from collection boxes will be retrieved in high-density areas.
  • Business customers with significant volumes of First Class Mail and/or Priority Mail can schedule a pick up (where available) at usps.com. (Quick Tools – Schedule a pickup)

Stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy, and convenient stores.

For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, go to www.usps.com to print postage online or find the nearest self-service kiosk.

The Central PA District serves customers in ZIP Codes 169 through 188; and 195 and 196.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
