What: |
Beaver Falls Post Office City Carriers Paul Yarosz and Mark Tukalo, along with Rural Carrier Carl Zahn, have been inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council’s “Million Mile Club” for achieving thirty or more years of accident-free driving on the job. Yarosz, Zahn, and Tukalo receive a special Million Mile Club plaque from Western Pennsylvania District Manager Jay Phelan, Beaver Falls Postmaster Margo Perry, and Manager Post Office Operations David Kucenic in a brief ceremony among their coworkers. To be qualified, for Million Mile Club status, a professional driver must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles. "These are outstanding postal employees in every aspect considering this very demanding position,” said Perry. “The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. Each member of this group is very conscientious and their leadership and accomplishments are a great example for every member of our workforce." |
