Two Greenville Post Office Mail Carriers to Be Awarded Membership in National Safety Council’s Prestigious

“Million Mile Club”

What:     

Greenville Post Office City Carrier Jill Redford and Rural Carrier Barbara Myers – with 30 and 31 years of service respectively - have been inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council’s “Million Mile Club” for achieving thirty or more years of accident-free driving on the job.

Redford and Myers will receive a special Million Mile Club plaque from Western Pennsylvania District Manager Troy Seanor; Manager, Post Office Operations Larry McClain; and Greenville Postmaster Lynne Holiga in a brief ceremony among their coworkers.

To be qualified, for Million Mile Club status, a professional driver must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles.

"These are outstanding postal employees in every aspect considering this very demanding position,” said Holiga. “The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. Each Million Mile Club member is very conscientious and their leadership and accomplishments are great examples for every member of our workforce."
