Upper St. Clair Branch (Pittsburgh Post Office) City Carriers Joseph Beaumont; William Brown; James Darling, Jr.; William Haeck; Daniel Helbig; Kevin Kubrick; Todd Kubrick; Daniel Mack; Mark Papariella; Richard Rattay and Barbara Westell have all been inducted into the prestigious National Safety Council’s “Million Mile Club” for achieving thirty or more years of accident-free driving on the job. The eleven elite drivers will receive a special Million Mile Club plaque from Pittsburgh Postmaster Deborah Gless, Manager, Customer Service Operations Maureen Gerst and Upper St. Clair Manager Michael Priore in a brief ceremony among their coworkers. To be qualified, for Million Mile Club status, a professional driver must have driven accident-free for either 30 years or a million miles. "These are outstanding postal employees in every aspect considering this very demanding position,” said Gless. “The Postal Service has always emphasized safe driving practices. Each member of this group is very conscientious and their leadership and accomplishments are a great example for every member of our workforce." |
