PITTSBURGH, PA — The Western PA District of USPS has announced a decision has been made to relocate the Adamsville, PA 16110 Post Office retail services to new location within the community.
The Postal Service had previously held a community meeting to discuss the Rainelle office status on April 18. After carefully considering all comments made at the meeting, the decision was made to proceed with a new space project. The project will allow the Postal Service to continue retail operations for our customers in Adamsville for the long term.
The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as are currently provided to our customers at the existing location. The Postal Service plans to continue to offer retail services from the existing Post Office until the replacement facility is open to the public.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products, and services to fund its operations.
