PROVIDENCE, RI — A structural fire destroyed a nearby business and the Albion Post Office over the weekend.  Post Office Box customers are asked to go to the Manville Post Office, located at 30 Railroad Street in Manville, to pick up their mail. They will need to bring a photo ID to receive the mail.

Albion mail will be available from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday and from 7:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday.

First Responders, Postal Inspectors and postal officials responded quickly to extinguish the fire and to secure and remove First-Class mail and packages.

We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers and thank them for their patience during this challenge.
