Greater SC Post Offices adjust hours on Friday before July 4 holiday

Post Offices to Close Early July 3

All Post Offices will be closed on Saturday, July 4, for the Independence Day Holiday. On Friday, July 3, in anticipation of reduced customer traffic due to the Saturday, July 4th holiday, Post Offices will observe a modified retail operation, closing at noon. (Two exceptions listed below.) Please visit usps.com and select “Locate a Post Office” to get the hours for your local unit.

Delivery Operations

  • All post offices will provide delivery services Friday July 3.
  • There will be no delivery Saturday, July 4 except for Express Mail.

Retail Operations

  • Most Post Offices will close window service units at noon, July 3rd, 2009

    The following offices will operate a normal schedule July 3rd

      Greenville, Keith D. Oglesby Station 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM
      Myrtle Beach, Carolina Forest 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Post offices will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

    All Post Office Boxes have 24/7 access except 3 listed below; Mail will be distributed by normal schedules.
