South Carolina — The U.S. Postal Service will re-establish the Chappells   Main Post Office at a yet-to-be-determined location in Chappells.

The Postal Service has decided to proceed with a new location due to serious maintenance and safety concerns at the existing facility. Retail services will be provided at the new location, which in the long term will re-establish retail operations for our customers in the community.

Additionally, the Postal Service will continue providing services at the Saluda Post Office until the new location in Chappells is open and operating.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
