Wolters Kluwer Financial Services Recognized

NASHVILLE, TN — The U.S. Postal Service today recognized Wolters Kluwer Financial Services of Minneapolis with its Corporate Business Achievement Award for the company’s commitment to a successful business partnership with the Postal Service. The award, which was announced at the annual National Postal Forum, highlights a joint effort between the two organizations to make the mailing of loan documents to borrowers easier, quicker and more cost-effective for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ mortgage lending clients.

The Postal Service and Wolters Kluwer Financial Services worked together to design a convenient new overnight mailer that can be used to deliver loan application documents to borrowers. Once borrowers receive the documents, they can sign and return them using the same mailer via a pre-paid business class postage system.

“We are pleased to recognize and honor Wolters Kluwer Financial Services for its innovation, creativity and leadership,” said USPS Chief Financial Office and Executive Vice President Joseph Corbett, who presented the company with the award. “It has produced winning business results and supported the mailing industry.”

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services provides innovative and trusted regulatory compliance solutions to more than 14,000 banking, mortgage, indirect lending, securities and insurance organizations to help improve their business processes and minimize risk. The company accomplishes this by leveraging its industry expertise, analytics, technology and services.

The firm was among a select group of postal customers honored as “best in class” in three categories:

Creative Business Solutions Awards
Mail that gets noticed also gets results. It’s visually appealing. It integrates seamlessly with a larger vision. These customers use the mail in new and different ways to help achieve their company’s business objectives. They put the “wow” factor in their mailpieces.

Strategic Business Development Award

These companies are always working to improve their operations and provide customers with a mail product that delivers increased value and business results. And the mailing industry benefits overall.

Corporate Business Achievement Award

From global alliances to collaboration on a smaller scale, business partnerships deliver success. If it were a private sector company, the U.S. Postal Service would rank 28th in the 2009 Fortune 500.

The National Postal Forum, a not-for-profit education corporation, was established in 1968 by a group of postal customers/mailers who were committed to an ongoing partnership with the U.S. Postal Service. The Forum’s goal, then and now, is to provide education to business mailers and communication/feedback between the Postal Service and its business customers for a more responsive and efficient mail communications system.
