Contract Postal Units (CPU) are located inside a local business or store and run by the retailer’s employees. CPUs allow the Postal Service to bring service to new growth areas or to better meet customer demands in underserved areas. CPUs offer a wide range of U.S. Postal Service products and services at the same prices found in traditional Post Offices. “For the customers in the Franklin area, we are thrilled to have the CPU reopened and under such strong leadership,” said Tennessee District Marketing Manager Kelly Hirtzer. There are currently 46 CPUs in the Tennessee District and nearly 4,000 CPU retailers nationwide. To find one near you, call 1-800-ASK-USPS, or go online to www.usps.com , click on the “Locate a Post Office” tab, and follow the prompts. |
