Columbus Day

TENNESSEE DISTRICT — In observance of the Columbus Day holiday, Monday, October 9, 2017, the Postal Service will adhere to the following schedule:

  • All Post Offices will be closed
  • No regular residential or business deliveries
  • Retrieval from blue collection boxes will be limited

Stamps are available at most grocery, pharmacy, and convenient stores. For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, visit www.usps.com, to print postage online or find the nearest self-service kiosk.

Although there will be no regular mail service, Express Mail is delivered 365 days a year.

The Tennessee District serves ZIP Codes 370-374, 376-385 in Tennessee and 307 in northern Georgia.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
