MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE – The public is invited to attend the Grand Opening ceremony for the new Memphis postal location on Thursday, September 13, at 10:00 a.m.  The Hacks Cross Finance Unit is located at 7948 Winchester Road, Suite 12, Memphis TN 38125.

Refreshments will be served at the ceremony, a free gift is available for the first 100 attendees, door prizes will be awarded, and a special Air Mail cancellation will be offered.

Customers are encouraged to learn about the popular new feature called Informed Delivery, which allows registered users to view images of their incoming letter mail before it’s delivered to the mailbox.  Registration will be available during the event.  Other offerings include information for small business customers on mailing solutions, online tools, and supplies.

The Hacks Cross retail hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  PO Boxes are now available to rent.

The Tennessee District serves ZIP Codes 370-374, 376-385 in Tennessee and 307 in northern Georgia.

The Postal Service does not receive tax dollars for operating expenses; it relies entirely on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
