FORT WORTH — Fort Worth District Manager David Camp today announced special holiday retail hours for the Independence Day Holiday weekend. Some Post Offices in the Fort Worth District will close early on Friday, July 3 (see attached listing); however, full delivery services and mail collections will be provided that day.
For customers requiring full Post Office services, Post Offices in most major Texas cities will be operating at normally scheduled Friday hours on July 3. Customers may visit the Postal Service's website, www.usps.com, or call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800- 275-8777) for assistance in finding their nearest post office locations and hours of operation.
All Fort Worth District Post Offices will be closed July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday. There will be no mail collections and only Express Mail deliveries in major urban cities will be provided on the July 4 holiday. All Fort Worth District administrative offices will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Regular Post Office retail hours, full delivery operations and all administrative operations will resume on Monday, July 6.
Postal customers are reminded the Post Office is always open at www.usps.com.
