Lubbock Post Office Announces Adjusted Holiday Hours

Full Postal Service Resumes Friday, December 26

LUBBOCK, TX—Postmaster Randy Turner today announced adjusted retail hours for the upcoming Christmas Holidays. Due to anticipated low customer demand, some Lubbock Post Offices will close early on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24; however, full delivery services and mail collections will be provided that day.

For customers requiring full Post Office services, the Monterey Station, 5014 Gary Ave., and the Singer Station, 4901 S Loop 289, will remain open until 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

All Lubbock Post Offices will be closed Dec. 25 in observance of the Christmas Day holiday. There will be no mail collections and only Express Mail deliveries will be provided on the Christmas Day holiday.

Regular Post Office retail hours of operation and full mail delivery services will resume on Saturday, December 26.

All Lubbock Post Offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, in observance of the New Year’s Day Holiday. There will be no mail collections and only Express Mail deliveries will be provided on the Jan. 1 holiday.
