U.S. Postal Service Opens New Contract Postal Unit in Laredo

LAREDO, TX — To increase convenience and access to postal services, a new Contract Postal Unit (CPU) has opened in the 78043 ZIP Code area of Laredo, inside the Laredo Country Store, 3911 Jaime Zapata Memorial Highway Suite 1.  A grand opening will be held beginning at 12 noon, on Monday, March 5.

A full line of postal products and services are available at the new CPU, including postage stamps, Express Mail® service, Priority Mail® service, special postal services, packaging products, and much more.  The hours of operation provide convenient access from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday thru Saturday.

“The contract postal unit also has a nice, new look.” says Postmaster Armando Villalon. “The Postal Service has re-engineered the entire Contract Postal Unit Program to better answer the needs of postal customers nationwide.”
