SAN ANTONIO — As part of the VFW Post 76’s Labor Day Celebration, honoring American workers everywhere, Postmaster Robert Carr will be dedicating the Flags of Our Nation Texas Flag Forever Stamp.

The dedication will take place on September 3, 2012, at 6:15 pm, at VFW Post 76, 10 Tenth Street, San Antonio, TX. The dedication follows a reading of a City Proclamation honoring the American Postal Worker. The program includes:

  • City Proclamation – Councilman Diego Bernal & Commissioner Tommy Adkinsson
  • Stamp Dedication – Postmaster Robert Carr & Union Officials

Labor Day festivities begin at 4:30 pm through 10:30 pm, with live music, food vendors, and information tables. The event is free to the public.
