RINGGOLD, TX – The U.S. Postal Service will implement an emergency suspension of the Ringgold, TX Post Office, located at 703 Loop 19, Ringgold, TX 78261, effective close of business on Friday, May 17, 2013. The office will be closed until further notice.

Alternate service will be provided by the nearby Nocona Post Office, located approximately 10 miles away.  Postal officials cited Lack of Qualified Personnel as the reason for the office’s suspension, which is not a permanent closure.

About 50 customers currently receive PO box delivery at the Ringgold Post Office. While this office is under an emergency suspension, Ringgold Post Office customers will receive mail delivery through PO box service at the Nocona Post Office, 400 Clay St., Nocona, TX 76255.

Mailing addresses for customers served by the Ringgold Post Office will remain the same - PO box numbers and last line of information (city, state and ZIP) will not change. Ringgold Post Office Box customers should contact the Nocona Postmaster to obtain keys for their new PO box.

Retail window service hours for the Nocona Post Office are weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
