Tyler, TX — The U.S. Postal Service is hosting a special Passport Day, in conjunction with the UT-Tyler University Office of International Programs. The location for this event is at the University Center at The University of Texas at Tyler, 3900 University Blvd. Hours are from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014.

As the need for passports increase, the Postal Service and UT-Tyler will provide a forum and an opportunity for residents to come in and submit the required application.

“We will continue to leverage the convenience of the Postal Service to help our customers apply for passports,” said Daniel Carleen, Tyler Postmaster. “Offering this service with a major academic institution in our city is a win-win initiative for Tyler residents and other communities as well.”
