
SOUTHLAKE, TX — The Southlake Post Office located at 300 State Street, Southlake Station will transform to Holiday Station on December 5 and 12, 2014, providing a special Santa and his Reindeer postmark and a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer postmark.
“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, the nation’s longest-running and highest-rated Christmas television special went down in history and received its stamp of approval this year. The set of four Limited Edition Forever stamps depicting Rudolph, Hermey, Santa and Bumble were created from still television frames from the special which premiered 50 years ago in 1964.

In celebration of the Limited Edition Rudolph stamps, the Southlake Post Office will be providing a special postmark on all the Santa letters sent from the station on these dates. There will be “write a letter to Santa” station set up so children can write to Santa and send their letter with the special postmark.
Hours of operation for the Southlake Post Office are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. And on every Saturday between now and Christmas the office will be open from and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
