Deweyville, TX Post office will close tomorrow, due to oncoming flood/mandatory evacuation

(Beaumont) --- Customers in Deweyville, TX will have to pick up their mail in Mauriceville, TX tomorrow, due to flooded conditions in the area. Postal officials will suspend retail service and mail delivery for the Deweyville Post Office, on Saturday, March 12. 

While customers can pick up their mail with proper identification at the Mauriceville Post Office, retail     and shipping services will also be available, such as Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail and First through Fourth-Class postage. In addition, customers can also purchase Special Services like Registered and Certified Mail.         

As water recedes in the impacted area and conditions improve, both mail delivery and retail services will be restored at the Deweyville Post Office.
