MOULTON, TX — Today, the U.S. Postal Service announced the Moulton Post Office has been released and cleared from all environmental hazards and is safe to occupy. The office will resume full operations on Thursday, April 21.
On April 4, the Postal Service implemented an emergency suspension for the office due to a hazardous situation within the facility resulting from a sewer system backflow into the building over the previous weekend.
We sincerely regret this inconvenience to our customers. However, the safety and well-being of both customers and employees is of utmost importance to the Postal Service.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
