GRAND PRAIRIE, TX —With Mother’s Day and vacation season fast approaching, the Grand Prairie Post Office at 802 S. Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75051-9998, is holding two passport fairs. The Passport Fairs give customers a Mother’s Day gift idea and will help global trekkers prepare for their travel plans. The fairs will both be held on Saturdays — May 7 and May 14, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In order to ensure we can serve customers expeditiously, appointments are being taken. Please call 1-844-661-8730 today to schedule a time slot for the Passport Fair. Postal clerks will be on hand to provide passport information and to accept passport applications.
Application forms, information on the costs and how to apply for a passport book and/or passport card can be found at usps.com/passport or travel.state.gov/passport. U.S. citizens also may obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at (877) 487-2778.
Once customers have a passport, they'll need a safe way to carry it. Fashionable USPS Passport Wallets, available in black or brown leather, are perfect for carrying important items, like a passport, cash, an ID, and up to seven credit cards. The wallets are available at passport acceptance offices and at usps.com/shop.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
