Houston, TX — Today, Postal officials suspended mail delivery and retail services at the Thompsons TX Post Office, due to flash flooding. All Thompson TX postal employees should report to the Richmond TX Post Office, and customers will have to pick up their mail at this alternate post office location as well.
At the Richmond, TX Post Office, retail and shipping services are available, such as Priority Mail Express, Priority Mail and First through Fourth-Class postage. In addition, Special Services like Registered and Certified Mail will be available for customers.
As water recedes in the impacted area and conditions improve, both mail delivery and retail services will be restored at the Thompsons TX Post Office.# # #
