LUBBOCK, TX — It’s time to channel your inner trekkie and transport yourself to the Singer Station, 4901 S. Loop 289, Lubbock, TX  79464, on Thursday, September 8.  In addition to having the new Star Trek stamps for sale, the Singer Station will also be offering a Special Cancellation commemorating the Star Trek stamps.

The Special Cancellation event will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Members from the USS Lone Star (a local Star Trek chapter) will be in attendance to help celebrate the event.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
