AUSTIN, TX — The U.S. Postal Service will be accepting applications for Rural Carrier Associate (RCA) positions now needed for the Austin, TX Post Office. Interested applicants can apply in person at the RCA Hiring Fair being held Saturday, Sept 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Austin Main Post Office, 8225 Cross Park Dr., Austin, TX 78758. Postal Service staff will be available to assist applicants with the hiring process and answer questions.
The Postal Service plans to fill approximately 30 part-time, non-career positions soon. The job has an exam requirement and applicants who do not already have an exam score on file are being invited to take the exam.
Salary for this position is $17.02 per hour paid bi-weekly, with variable work hours and work days, including holidays and weekends. Start time is flexible and successful applicants must be available when called to report to work. Work hours will vary. These RCA positions will be in Austin, Texas.
