LAREDO, TX — According to postal officials, the Laredo Veterans Post Office Building El Centro Station, located at 1300 Matamoros St., Laredo, TX 78040, will be receiving a facelift soon that includes remodeling work to the interior and exterior of the facility. Officials have confirmed that work outside the Post Office could begin as soon as this week, as the Postal Service installs a temporary facility to house the P.O. Boxes.
Retail services will remain available at the Post Office, until the installation of the temporary P.O. Box location has been completed. Customers should be assured that throughout the remodeling it will be safe to continue doing business at the Laredo Veterans Post Office/El Centro Station. P.O. Box customers will receive a letter next week addressed to their boxes providing notice of any changes.
Our customers’ and employees’ safety and well-being is of paramount importance to the Postal Service. We will work hard to minimize any inconvenience to you. As the project moves forward, additional information on available postal services will also be provided.
The Postal Service relies on the support of our customers through the sale of postage, products and services, and it does not receive any tax dollars to pay for operating expenses.
