U.S. Postal Service Continues to Restore Service Following Hurricane Harvey

PORT LAVACA, TX — The Postal Service continues to restore service to our customers who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.  As an integral part of the communities we serve, the Postal Service is continuing recovery efforts every day, to reconnect our customers and businesses with their mail. 

Hurricane Harvey caused significant damage to the Port Lavaca, TX Post Office, requiring its temporary suspension following the storm.  Postal officials announced that repairs have been completed and the Port Lavaca Post Office will resume retail operations at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15. Full P.O. box, delivery and collection operations will also resume from this office, starting Saturday, Sept. 16. 

The Port Lavaca Post Office is located at 1201 Half League Rd, Port Lavaca TX 77979-9998.  Retail hours of operation at this location are: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday.
