FORT WORTH, TX — The United States Postal Service is actively seeking applications for a career Automotive Technician at the Fort Worth Vehicle Maintenance Facility.
Automotive Technicians perform routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor vehicles used in the Postal Service fleet. Some driving of postal vehicles is required.
The salary range is $42,560-$57,376 annually with employee benefits, including sick leave, vacations and retirement. Applicants will be required to pass a two-step exam process.

All applicants must be at least 18 at the time of hire (or age 16 with a high school diploma) and be a U.S. citizen or have permanent alien status. Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger. Applicants must be able to pass drug screening, criminal background, medical assessment, and must reside within daily commuting distance of the position.
