FORT HANCOCK, TX — The Fort Hancock Post Office, located at 107 W Texas Hwy 20, Fort Hancock, TX 79839, will be temporarily suspended for repairs the week of July 16-20, 2018. The office is expected to resume operations on July 23, 2018.
Temporary post office operations will be available at the nearby Fort Hancock ISD Administration Building, located at 100 School Dr., Fort Hancock, TX 79839. PO Box customers with ZIP Code 79839 will be able to pick up their mail from this location and limited retail window services will also be provided here during normal business hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.; and closed Sunday.
All postal retail transactions are available at the nearby Tornillo Post Office, located at 19280 Cobb St, Tornillo TX 79853. Tornillo PO business hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday.
The Postal Service regrets any inconvenience to its customers and will work to restore operations for this office as soon as possible.
