ALLEN, TX — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail services that were provided from the Allen Post Office, 304 W. Boyd Dr. Allen, TX 75013, to a new, yet-to-be-determined location as close as reasonably possible to the existing Post Office location in order to better serve postal customers in the community.
The U.S. Postal Service will be hosting a public meeting at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the Allen City Hall Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 305 Century Pkwy. Allen, TX 75013. Officials with the Postal Service’s Facilities Department will be there to share information and answer questions.

The Postal Service will consider all comments prior to making its final decision. All comments and recommendations received by November 08, 2018, will be considered.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
