U.S. Postal Service Senior Vice President to Be Keynote Speaker at Utah Postal Customer Council Annual Meeting

SALT LAKE CITY — A top leader of the U.S. Postal Service, Senior Vice President, Intelligent Mail and Address Quality, Thomas Day, will be the featured speaker at this year’s National Postal Customer Council Day to be held from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 15, at the Gathering Place at Gardner Village, 1100 W. 7800 South, in West Jordan.

The event is intended for business mailers but is open to all. Those interested in attending can register online at utahpcc.com. Registration is $15 per person for those registering and includes lunch. For more information call 801-974-2592.

Joining Day will be USPS Salt Lake District Manager Ken McArthur, who will speak on what the Postal Service can do to support local businesses.  A number of postal experts will also be on hand to answer questions on a variety of topics.

During the event, Postmaster General John E. Potter will speak live via satellite from Portland, Oregon, to all Postal Customer Councils across the nation. National PCC Day is designed to share the most current information about the value of mail and challenges facing the mailing industry and provide business networking opportunities.

The Utah Postal Customer Council is an organization of business partnership between the mailers of Utah and the U.S. Postal Service in Utah. Vendors, including Skymail International, MSI Worldwide Mail, Presort Essentials, Salt Lake Mailing, Express 1, Response Envelope, and Mountainland Business Systems, will showcase the latest in mailing technologies.
