Woodbridge VA — Customers can focus on business and let their desktop deliver using the Postal Service’s award-winning website, USPS.com. USPS.com offers customers 24/7 access to almost all the services available at the Post Office — from the convenience of their home or office.
As part of USPS.com Week¸ March 23–27, the Woodbridge Main Post Office is showing customers how they can save time and money by shipping online.
“Just about anything you can do at a Post Office, you can do online at USPS.com,” said Postmaster Donna Culbertson. “We’ll help you learn how easy and economical it is to use USPS.com to ship packages, order free eco-friendly Priority Mail and Express Mail shipping supplies, print and pay for shipping labels, and request free Carrier Pickup — just click and ship.”
Postal Service employees will be on hand to give customers hands-on demonstrations of USPS.com and show how using USPS.com can help them save them time and money. The Postal Service offers online discounts between 3 percent and 11 percent when customers ship online.
“The Postal Service is the most economical way to ship packages,” Culbertson said. “When you use Click-N-Ship online at USPS.com, you receive free Delivery Confirmation and shipping discounts — up to 11 percent off the price you’d pay if you visited the Post Office. And remember, the Postal Service doesn’t add fuel surcharges or other hidden fees, like residential delivery or Saturday delivery. It’s a real value for your money.”
The Woodbridge Post Office is hosting events at two Woodbridge locations on two different days:
- Woodbridge Main Post Office located at 1810 Reddy Road, Woodbridge VA. 22191 will host an event Monday March 23, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Prince William Post Office located at 3360 Post Office Road, Woodbridge VA. 22192 will host an event on Tuesday March 24, 2009 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
“Stop by our office and let us help you discover the convenience of having you own online Post Office,” Culbertson said. “We’re here to help you.”
