Contract Postal Unit Has Extended Hours of Operation

RICHMOND, VA — To increase convenience and access to postal products and services, a new Contract Postal Unit (CPU) has been opened at Sav-More Supermarket located at 4211 Beulah Rd .in Richmond, Virginia 23237. A CPU is a Post Office that is located inside a retail establishment and operated by the retailer's employees.

A full line of products and services are available at the new CPU including postage stamps, Express Mail® service, Priority Mail® service and a wide variety of packaging products. Such services as Certified Mail®, Return Receipt® and Delivery Confirmation® are also available.

The hours of operation provide convenient access 7 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. The CPU has Spanish speaking employees to assist the community with all their mailing and shipping needs.

The public is invited to join in the Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 12:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be light refreshments, door prizes, and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 PM. This event is free.
