RICHMOND, VA – All Post Offices in the Richmond District (comprised of ZIP Codes beginning with 228 through 239 and 244) will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Post Offices will be open regular business hours Saturday, July 2.
Priority Express Mail designated for holiday delivery will take place in the major metropolitan areas on July 4. Normal delivery and collection schedules will resume Tuesday, July 5.
All Business Mail Entry Units (BMEU) will be closed for commercial customers Saturday, July 2. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, July 5.
Customers who wish to purchase stamps or many other products and services may use any of the Self-Service Kiosks located at the 24-hour locations listed below. At the Self-Service Kiosk customers can access most retail services, including renewing PO Boxes, purchasing stamps, weighing packages and calculating postage for Priority Express Mail, Priority Mail, and First-Class Mail. All Self-Service Kiosks accept debit and credit cards only.
