Last minute federal tax filers still have options:
The Northern Virginia District has 36 Self-Service Kiosks located throughout the Northern Virginia area. Customers can locate a 24-hour Self-Service Kiosk or obtain directions to the closest Self-Service Kiosk location by visiting www.usps.com. A Self-Service Kiosk can be used for 80 percent of Post Office transactions.

Mailers are strongly advised to check the last pickup time posted on blue collection boxes before depositing their returns as there will be no special collection of mail from these boxes. An April 18 postmark will be provided if the mail is deposited by the last pickup time posted.
