WOODBRIDGE, VA —The U.S. Postal Service’s Prince William Mega-Passport Center, located at 3360 Post Office Road in Woodbridge, is now open on Saturdays to make it more convenient for customers to apply for passports.
The passport center’s new walk-in hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The passport center serves Prince William and all Northern Virginia surrounding areas. No appointments are required.
The Postal Service has the products and services needed to submit a new passport or renewal application. Services for a fee at this new Mega Passport Office include passport photos taken onsite, passport application acceptance and photocopy service. Expedited processing is also available, including Priority Mail Express delivery of the passport, with tracking and insurance.
The U.S. Department of State has detailed guidelines for preparing your passport application and supporting documents. To save time, you may fill out and print a passport application online in advance by visiting the U.S. State Department website http://travel.state.gov. Please ensure that your application is completed in black ink, and that you have the required U.S. citizenship documentation as well as identification and payment when you arrive for the fair.
