RICHMOND, VA — In observance of Veterans Day, Post Offices will be closed for retail transactions on Saturday, Nov. 11. There will be no residential or business delivery with the exception of packages and Priority Mail Express. Post Offices will be open regularly scheduled hours on Friday, Nov. 10. Normal delivery will resume Monday, Nov. 13.

Please note:

  • Stamps are available at many grocery, pharmacy and convenience stores.
  • For 24/7 access to most postal products and services, go to www.usps.com, where you can look up a ZIP Code, track a package, buy stamps, hold mail, print postage online, submit a change of address, or schedule a package pickup.
  • A number of Post Offices offer Self-Service Kiosks, available 24/7, which can also be located by going to USPS.com.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
